The Elusive Internet
Another “yes, I am still alive” post I’m afraid. My diligent quest to achieve a reliable Internet connection (through the wonders of 3G mobile broadband) has been foiled on several fronts. In order to get the service I need to sign a contract for 18 months and I also need give them a DNE (the Spanish equivalent of a SSN), neither of which I can do. I’ve been to 5 cell phone stores asking about this, which is good for practicing Spanish and learning how to get around the city, but bad for morale.
Life remains busy. Sleep remains precious. Health continues to improve ever so slowly.
Oh, and I spent my first hour doing the English teaching/playing with the kids. It was really fun… I’ll have to explain later though because we have to leave for a program-planned 3-hour wine tasting thingy. I assure you, the excite-o-meter is on low for this one.

Good to hear from you, Paul! Hope your internet attempts don’t continue to be thwarted, but I hope you can enjoy everyone you can nonetheless!
Anything Goes opens in less than a week, so you can imagine what kind of crunch-time we’re in here in Worcester. Hope all is well in Spain… !
PS: I started my Aspects of Spanish Culture class - looks like I’ll be learning a lot of interesting stuff about Spain!
